This website was created in loving memory of Rajesh Shahani who touched so many with his love, energy and free spirit. Raj's family developed this site to commemorate his life and bring awareness to the social causes he was most passionate about. Raj wanted to make a difference in this world by helping those less fortunate. He advocated for the following two social causes:

1) Providing clean water to the impoverished through the non-profit organization charity: water.

2) Alleviating poverty by micro-financing small businesses through the organization Kiva. 

With his life cut short, Raj's family has been continuing his work by raising money for these two organizations which were close to his heart.
